This primary bathroom remodel in Blaine, MN, combines warm wood cabinetry, a stone fireplace, and a freestanding soaking tub for a cozy, spa-inspired retreat. A zero-entry walk-in shower adds comfort and accessibility to the refreshed space.
A Warm Take on Relaxation in Blaine
An unexpected upstairs bathroom flood became the catalyst for a complete main-level transformation, opening the closed-off layout and creating better spaces for gathering, organization, and everyday life. Relocating the garage entrance also made room for a convenient new powder bathroom.
The Silver Lining in Bloomington
What began as a simple flooring consultation evolved into a complete main-floor transformation, including a long-awaited living room addition and expanded deck. Thoughtful architectural details, meaningful woodwork, and a bright, functional layout to create a clean, cohesive home designed for gathering and everyday living.
Where Every Detail Tells a Story
This primary bathroom transformation focused on refreshing a dated space while improving functionality and preserving quality craftsmanship. Existing cabinetry was updated with paint, while new tile, a custom half tub deck, and a freestanding tub brought a lighter, more modern aesthetic. The redesigned space highlights the barrel-vaulted ceiling with statement wallpaper and is finished with brass and crystal accents that add warmth, elegance, and personality.

?This 20-year-old kitchen was tired, much like a 20k marathon runner feels at the three-quarter mark. Oh, and it was also looking very 90’s in the style department, like a tracksuit or bib overalls. But it wasn’t just about getting rid of the laminate countertops or the failing oak cabinets, but about gaining more usable space with the same basic footprint, with room for honey and syrup!

They thought about it for years until they finally pulled the trigger on multiple aspects of their kitchen and powder room. For this family, it was primarily a desire for a more modern look and functionality.
