Curb Appeal Remodel in Golden Valley

Curb appeal exterior remodel features painted brick, Smartside siding in two tones, and hand-crafted entrance privacy screens.

Project Summary

Curb appeal is a big deal. As a return on investment (ROI) project it has topped the Cost Vs. Value list for the last 5 years at near 100%. Then there is the personal pride aspect of having a home people stop and stare at while walking their dogs. That’s big too. Both were in play in this exterior project, which had a custom design twist.

Instead of just upgrading all the siding we also painted the front elevation brick as a dark accent wall and turned plain entrance screens or privacy panels into works of art.

We also added an awning "eyebrow" feature over the garage door on the side of the home for aesthetic interest and to break up the verticle dominance of the structure.  In the back of the home, we added a new patio door. Some interior wood flooring in the bedroom and closet upgrades completed the remodel.

It's a great example of how Murphy Bros. designers look at the use of materials to make a bold statement and stop dog owners in their tracks!
