Main Floor Transformation in Otsego
What started as a basic kitchen remodel soon developed into a main floor transformation involving the kitchen, living room, bathroom, and laundry.

Project Summary
This young family in Otsego wanted to make the home they bought into something special they could call their own. When they initially approached Murphy Bros., the kitchen was their main concern.
However, and this is often the case, functionality issues soon became clear that affected more than their mono-toned kitchen. They had issues throughout their entire main floor that needed addressing. So, back to the drawing board and more thoughtful design to come up with a plan they could afford and still solve their main functionality and aesthetic issues.
Behind it all was a basic psychological need to make this house their forever home, where every room reflects who they are and how they live.
Below they tell their remodeling story in their own words, mistakes and all, but with a truly happy, satisfied ending!
