My approach to design/build is really to start with what the pain points are for the homeowners. What they don't like about their space, and then kind of play off on looking at their style throughout their home and trying to pull everything back together. Making those pain points into something that go away and bringing in something that makes their house feel like a home. but I think my favorite part is probably the fact that I've done all the background, I've done all the back side of the industry, and then at that point you're only doing one section. And here with this job, I get to do absolutely everything...
Summary of Experience
Since 2010 McKenzie has gained a very wide range of experience and accomplishments in the design/build world. Most recently she has been working with individual homeowners on their remodeling designs. In addition to her work with homeowners, she has also worked as a design manager in charge of interior renovations for several different Minnesota companies. Most helpful to Murphy Bros. clients will be her extensive knowledge of all things tile, cabinetry, and countertops, having worked both in the design phase and in the field.

Hobbies / Interests
McKenzie loves any reason to be outside. She loves to go boating, camping or even just a walk through the neighborhood. She enjoys spending time with her family and kids. She also enjoys refinishing antique furniture.
