Kasey Birch
"I am passionate about creating functional yet aesthetically inviting spaces that wow the client and leaves them feeling special and understood."
I love puzzles. The remodeling world is the ultimate puzzle. It's so fun to work with my clients and my production team to finish the puzzle. To have a beautiful, one-of-a-kind project at the end. No two clients are the same. No project is the same. It's fun.
The first thing I want to know is, what do they love about their home, and what's not working about their home? Why remodel instead of move? What's driving the project? Why did they call us to come?
And so the first part of what I like to do is walk around the space, talk about the things that they've been dreaming about probably for years, and know, what the ultimate desire is for them...

Kasey was amazing—the patience of a saint for someone who is, shall I say, design-challenged, like myself. She had amazing ideas. She allowed me to kind of mentally work through the process and really kind of wrap my head around some of the suggestions in terms of what they meant for me or how I envisioned them. And I just, I can't believe how patient she is and was with us as we went through the process and also taking ideas and making them come to life.
Summary of Experience
Kasey brings to Murphy Bros. a diverse range of experience in both the design and build worlds. As a child of a cabinet maker, she spent countless hours soaking up the craft. She followed that love of hands on creative with 15 years in the real estate industry, steeped in the excitement of renovating spaces and refining her understanding of how good design can utterly transform any home. While helping others realize their dream home, she and her husband designed and constructed several homes of their own. It was during those years that she came to understand the difficult, but rewarding demands of design/build. Rounding out her experience Kasey added organizational skills through her employment with Target during their “phoenix” remodeling of T-1 & T-3 (the very first & third stores built). Although Kasey only recently joined the company in 2018 as a design assistant, helping our full-time staff with larger more complicated projects, her well developed design acumen and attention to detail became quickly evident. She is now part of the full-time staff of design/build consultants, working on a wide range of projects.
