Project Summary
The original property owners of this spacious retirement rambler wanted two things: safer and easier access to both the tub and shower, and an aesthetic upgrade. So we enlarged the master bath slightly to accommodate a larger shower with grab bars and a lower darker color Onyx 3-inch curb pan for easy access and to act as a visual transition point. We also added a universal design built-in jacuzzi-style tub with grab bars and a low entry point.

Before Remodeling
"We also added additional blocking for future grab bars in the master bath as might be needed," explained Design-Build Consultant of 15 years, Jonah Smith. Their existing vanity was still in pretty good shape, so our own cabinet makers simply custom-made new drawers and doors along with new Ceasarstone countertops, flooring, and lighting, to create that new aesthetic appeal they wanted," said Smith.
AFTER — Note: Swinging glass door, shower wall tile "Hall Blanco" and Kohler fixtures.
AFTER — The powder room facelift involved new countertops, Silestone "Desert Silver"; tile flooring, papered walls, and Spacebox” H0493 for vanity paint color.
