Following a fire caused by a lightning strike, this family of 6 found a 1980's foreclosed at a bargain. Among the many rooms that needed updating were the bathrooms. In each case, the maximum effort was given to fine adjustments to material selections and areas to leave untouched in order to remain in line with the insurance settlement and final budget. The master bath of 1980's design elements, including the liberal use of glass blocks and single sink vanity and jacuzzi tub. We replaced those elements with dual under-mount sinks, a private commode, and walk-in shower.
With four kids it was important to have bathrooms styled for girls and boys. Materials were selected in part for maintenance, durability and safety. As you can see previous bathroom design accommodated none of these concerns.
